[Bug 364569] [NEW] Cursor problem

Okay, I've done my homework and found similar problems reported on the
net. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but it's MADDENING! My cursor keeps
jumping around when I'm typing text, even in emails and when I'm filling
in forms on-line. This happens on BOTH my laptops - one using Ubuntu 8.4
and the other 8.10. Please, what is the problem and how can it be
fixed??? If it can't be, then I'll have to go back to Windows ....
