[Bug 600453] Re: Computer boots in low-graphics mode (intel graphics card)

The kernel I am now running is 
 
cribari at darwin:~$ uname -a
Linux darwin 2.6.35-020635rc6-generic #020635rc6 SMP Fri Jul 23 10:08:28 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am able to boot into X with this kernel. However, when I boot with the
newer linux-image-2.6.35-14-generic, I get a blank screen. I have also
tried to boot Ubuntu 10.10 alpha 3 from a CD and got a blank screen.

Suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
