Hi Jeremy,
  This was fixed almost a year ago, cant remember what the resolution was,
think it was more of a hardware problem than software, think I had to go
into the bios and reenable the wireless.. anyway, ok to close and really
appreciate the concern, love ubuntu and tell everyone about it!
