[Bug 616223] [NEW] Display black when X starts, otherwise works

In linux-image-2.6.35-13-generic and linux-image-2.6.35-14-generic
laptop's display stays black and nothing is shown in the display. I can
see the kernel boot messages but as soon as X starts, everything is
black. The computer still works, I can log in blind and I can the hear
the login sound. With linux-image-2.6.35-12-generic I don't have this
problem, and that's the kernel version I'm currently using.

My laptop is Dell Latitude E5410 and the graphics chip is:
