[Bug 616186] [NEW] resume fails after suspend / hibernate (regression) with 2.6.32-24-generic

Public bug reported:

After upgrading to 2.6.32-24-generic my resume fails after either
suspend or hibernate. It seems to successfully suspend or hibernate but
the resume just starts from a fresh reboot. It was working before the
upgrade.
