[Bug 213206] Re: SoundMAX AD1988B- no digital audio

I'm using Asus P5W64 WS Pro motherboard. It comes with integrated
SoundMax ADI1988 Audio chipset.

Analog outputs works with this:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation N10/ICH 7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 81f6
Control: I/O- Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- ...

but the output levels are poor and sound distortion increases rapidly on
max levels.

As  tomeq_, I cant get no sound out of digital outputs.
