It appears the patch noted in the description is indeed already included
in the upstream kernel as of v2.6.35-rc4. The Maverick kernel was
recently rebased on upstream's 2.6.35 final kernel and uploaded, so as a
result, it also contains this patch. I'm therefore marking this bug Fix
Released for Maverick. Thanks.
