Yes, confirmed that the upgrade to the new Ubuntu version 10.04 cause
Medibuntu to be de-selected. The solution for me was to un-install Alsa
Firmware, then do the update....no error message. Then re-installed Alsa
Firmware and the Medibuntu repositories
