[Bug 612591] [NEW] [Maverick] Kernel treats 3-button touchpad as 1-button ClickPad

Public bug reported:

This seems to be the inverse of bug 582809 (Clickpad buttons Not
working).

The Maverick kernel treats my 3-button touchpad as if it were a ClickPad
-- and thus treats the middle button as if it were another left button.
In dmesg, I see "ClickPad Mode Enabled". This bug is a real showstopper
for me -- every time I try to open something in a new tab in the middle
button, it instead replaces the current tab.

The vanilla 2.6.35-rc6 kernel, from kernel-ppa, does not have this issue.
I've also tried twice to report this bug, and each time received a "Timeout error (Error ID: OOPS-1675L804)".
