I think there are a lot of people who found a working dsdt on the web and happily used it for a long time.
I think it is absolutely the wrong way to disable a usefull and working feature.
Rebuilding the kernel is really the worst workaround i cn imagine...
So please enable ACPI_CUSTOM_DSDT again...
