[Bug 516207] Re: samba 3.4.0 memory leak sharing to vmware XP guest

This is an issue with Samba, not Ubuntu. I will test this when I upgrade
to Lucid Lynx. I currently don't have the time for other testing. I am
on the latest kernel. I update constantly. This problem with Samba 3.4.0
has occurred on older versions of the Linux Kernel. Again, I think this
is a Samba 3.4.0 issue, as going to Samba 3.2.5 fixes the problem.

Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.
