Not yet really.

We have to ensure (following triaging rules wiki) that late latest
kernel version is tested and reported.

Please, can anybody test latest Lucid version? http://cdimage.ubuntu.com

Just a guess: I think your Gateway harware, is slightly different to the
original reporter one. We'd prefer to open a new bug to separate
problems, even though they're related.
