Similar test-case on a Athlon64 cpu shows much lower wake-ups:

Top causes for wakeups:
  38.3% (170.0)D  firefox-bin
  22.4% ( 99.4)   pulseaudio
  13.8% ( 61.2)   [nvidia] <interrupt>
  10.8% ( 48.0)   PS/2 keyboard/mouse/touchpad interrupt
   7.8% ( 34.5)   [kernel scheduler] Load balancing tick
   2.5% ( 11.3)   [pata_via] <interrupt>
