 i think that my hard drive it is broken (it has 2 damaged sectors), so i thought that was the problem, i was installing my old Hp Inkjet 840-c , actually it was installed and i was using hplip 3.9.8 on Ubuntu 9.10 64 bits to align my new cartridges, i dont know exactly if this the cause of the problem, instead the computer has many problems, thats why i am using linux while i buy a new hard drive and install it
