Public bug reported:

I burned Artistx live CD linux to a usb key.

Running synaptic to update it keeps crashing during the configuration of
the updates.  Perhaps it's because it's trying to update to a new Linux
kernel but the live CD part of it does not allow upgrade.

The other updated packages seem to process okay.
