Public bug reported:
In the Lucid TI OMAP kernel, NetworkManager and wicd, as well as all
command line tools such as iwlist, fail to work. This seems to be due
to CONFIG_CFG80211_WEXT being disabled.
Example error from NetworkManager:
NetworkManager: <WARN> wireless_get_range(): (wlan0): couldn't get driver range information (95).
NetworkManager: <WARN> constructor(): (wlan0): Device unsupported, ignoring.
