I tested the steps lined out in
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hotkeys/Troubleshooting with my current Lucid
installation (beta2 with updates at 18 April 2010).

The result is that there are ACPI event but not keypress.

Only Fn-F8, Wifi-Bluetooth switch, is working.
