[Bug 565091] [NEW] MacMini3,1 won't boot without nomodeset

Public bug reported:

I did a fresh install out of today's live cd (20100416, amd64) and then
updated packages (apt-get update; apt-get dist-upgrade). After
rebooting, the kernel consistently got stuck after listing USB devices.
I tried both normal and safe mode.

Passing the "nomodeset" parameter got my kernel to boot. I'm assuming
this is related to the new noveau driver and KMS. I hope I filed the bug
against the right package.
