[Bug 563138] [NEW] Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2 fails to boot on Samsung R40Plus laptop

Public bug reported:

I made a bootable USB stick with Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 2 iso image. It boots
and runs well without a problem on my Asus laptop in office, but doesn´t
want to boot on my Samsung R40 Plus at home.

At the same time I upgraded Ubuntu 9.10 on this same Samsung laptop to
Ubuntu 10.04 beta 1. It wouldn start with the default kernel
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.22, or XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.19. Starts with
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.11 ONLY.

I would love to be able to use the new release. See my translations in
action at least.
