I'm having the exactly opposite problem: freezes when I switch from
battery to AC. I've noticed that this problem doesn't happen so often
when I play rhythmbox continously. Whenever I starup connect to AC it
freezes before the Ubuntu login and also when I switch to AC without
playing rhythmbox. I've already tried to update kernel and disable
compiz. I pretty sure that it is not a problem of hardware since I've
had Windows installed in my laptop before moving to Linux. By the way,
my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 205A. I really appreciate if somebody
could point a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance.
