[Bug 552316] [NEW] ubuntu 10.04 will not shutdown

I'am using Ubuntu 10.04 kernel,2.6.32-18 generic gnome 2.29.92
When I click Shut Down the computer does not shutdown it just restarts.Nothing happens except it just re-boots.
and of coarse i expected 10.04 to shutdown.
