Hi,

I have recently moved to Lucid and I'm still getting the same thing.  No
application that can use a webcam is able to use it.

As an additional sympton on Lucid, the webcam light is always on with no
way to turn it off even if I try to launch a webcam application and
close it, the webcam light stays on.
