Public bug reported:
This seems to happen on a livecd (tried with netbook-image from April 6
(Lucid)) when I try to log in with a user I created with "adduser
--encrypt-home".
Steps to recreate:
1. Create livecd usb with usb creator
2. Boot from usb
3. Create new user with adduser --encrypt-home, for instance adduser --encrypt-home test
4. Logout normal livecd user (ubuntu) and login with user test
5. Login will fail and syslog reports kernel failure
