I'm running Lucid with 2.3.32-19 and my Option 505 is now recognised by
the Network Manager and I'm getting the same speeds as HSOconnect.  I
have ozerocdoff installed as well as hsolink (1.0.118-1) and have added
to the udev.rules (all from this post):

NB:  The package of hsolink currently in lucid (1.0.118-3) does not seem
to recognise the modem, that's why I'm using the deb from the above post
despite being the same version number.
