I don't mind at all whose fault it is due to ! (and anyway I am well
aware of such Via's lacks)

Just wanted to point out a precise regression that certainly could be
avoided because various kernels before didn't panic at all on the same
hardware. It would be interesting to test with 2.6.33, I'll try to find
a way and tell then...
