[Bug 554398] [NEW] Lucid crash on heavy DB i/o (mvsas?)

Public bug reported:

Lucid crashes repeatable when loading OpenStreetMap database. This is
an i/o heavy operation that takes 36-48 hours. 6 to 12 hours in, Lucid
throws i/o errors, then crashes and fails to respond to keyboard or ssh.

Linux tile 2.6.32-19-server #28-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 1 11:46:36 UTC 2010
x86_64 GNU/Linux

Ubuntu 2.6.32-19.28-server 2.6.32.10+drm33.1

This is all new hardware and drives.
I've not been able to confirm any hard drive flaws. SMART, badblocks and dd all operate normally and give no errors.

Initial setup included raid, I've removed that but the problems persist.
Initial setup included ext4, I've changed to ext3 but the problem persists.

dmesg shows a trace shortly after mvsas loads, could this be related to
mvsas?

Any help with this is warmly welcomed.

See dmesg.log attached below
