just got this new laptop-

Acer Aspire 5732Z -

Intel Pentium Duo Core T4400
500GB HD
4GB RAM

I just put Ubuntu 9.10 on it from CD and tried to update, but after a few minutes it slowed and stopped responding.
Then i rebooted and tried using CPU frq scaler to switch both to PERFORMANCE setting (2.20GHz)
and then came the bug report request.
So here it is.
Hope you can fix this, my life and laptop would not be worth having without my linux!!
I have dual-boot with windows 7 (was installed when i bought the laptop) but im keeping it for aesthetic reasons until i KNOW FOR SURE i am not gonna use it.
My server is coming on tuesday and im putting ubuntu server on it but i would still like to have it on here.
I don't wanna use windows. I would rather eat shit than use IRC on it    ><_><
