this is my "dmesg | grep iwl"
[   15.102256] iwl3945: Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG/BG Network Connection driver for Linux, 2.6.33-020633-generic-ks
[   15.102262] iwl3945: Copyright(c) 2003-2009 Intel Corporation
[   15.102395] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 17
[   15.102411] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: setting latency timer to 64
[   15.156622] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: Tunable channels: 13 802.11bg, 23 802.11a channels
[   15.156627] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: Detected Intel Wireless WiFi Link 3945ABG
[   15.156782] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: irq 28 for MSI/MSI-X
[   15.218878] phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'iwl-3945-rs'
[   21.603973] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: firmware: requesting iwlwifi-3945-2.ucode
[   21.644158] iwl3945 0000:0c:00.0: loaded firmware version 15.32.2.9

And just had a connection drop on 14:29:36 followed by a total system
freeze (even ctrl+alt+f1..6 not working) short after 14:32:16. Perhaps
I'll try mainline 2.6.34rc1 deb.
