Since few days, I am trying run linux on my Aspire 9410, first with
Fedora, then I tried Ubuntu latest version with the updates  - 9.10
kernel 2.6.31-20-generic. I got the same error with both systems. The
funny thing is that the trick of inserting a CD fix the problem!
