Public bug reported:

sorry - i have no idea if this is new or old or the same or different. New the linux/ubuntu as well as to lucid.
I am trying to reinstall a driver to the broadcom wireless - the b43 driver. My initial attempt failed, it generated a crash report that it would not send on to you because some modules in a long list of modules were not current. It advised me to update them and try again. I updated three or so, and attempted to remove and reinstall the b43 driver. the 'remove' attempt failed - i think hung - and after five minutes or so i shut the netbook down. powered back up and sucessfully I imagined and quickly removed the driver. the attempt to reinstall b43 created this crash report. and this bug report.
This is a dell a90 which i have put ubuntu/lucid on. I intend to reinstall Lucid from the USB stick, so I do not need help. Of course I also can use an external usb wireless device to connect to the internet, which I am doing.
this email was initiated by the system at the tail end of a crash report. I assume it has sent all the other required information. Please feel free to ignore this if it does not help you, or is incomplete.
