2.6.28.15-generic kernel on Intel D945GCLF2 (realtek 8111c , driver
r8169).  Completely fresh install.

When accessing SMB share from Windows PC, transfers to the Ubuntu
machine seem to work fine.  Any medium to large file transfer TO the
ubuntu machine from the Windows PC will fail.  Exact same "Transmit
timed out" message as stated above.
