This was not previously an issue on my X301, OSD for volume worked fine
as did the mute button.

The behaviour for unmuting has been like it was for some time now (i.e.
the mute button mutes, it's not a toggle. You can tell it's not a toggle
because the little picture next to it is a speaker with a line through
it), so I believe this change is wrong.

Additionally, muting no longer lights up the LED for the mute button
which it did in the previous karmic kernel.

Finally, is it not terrifically bad to use osi=Linux? Does Lenovo
specifically support this?
