All these Huawei bugs are clearly not going to be patched before the
final release.

Who is responsible for adding a 'Known Issues' comment on the Ubuntu
homepage for the release?

I suspect there will be plenty of peeved users otherwise. I know of a
number of user who would lose their only connectivity due to these bugs.
