Mikael, what is happening there at 67s? Like 5 acpid power events. And 3
at 129s. Definitely something wrong. hdparm -B 254 is being set all the
time, but never the -B 128 which would happen if AC was disconnected.
Can you please file a new bug, since that is a separate issue? Attach
your /var/log/daemon there, unless "ubuntu-bug acpid" does it for you.

The "frozen" messages typically arrive timestamped 30s after the freeze
was triggered, so at 21s, 130s, 190s which always match a hdparm call.
