[Bug 444801] [NEW] prism 2.5 broke in 2.6.30.x (fixed upstream in 2.6.32)

Public bug reported:

2.6.30 introduced a regression in prism chipsets.  Upstream has released
a fix in 2.6.32.  I hear that karmic is going to be released with 2.6.31
so it would be nice to see a backport of the fix included.
