If you have also an i915 graphic card I think so. Just confirm the upstream bug report so that the devs know that it is not a rare issue.
Btw. so far I had experienced no penalties through it. Everything graphic related (except of some glitches with textured video but I guess this is a different problems) seems to work fine except of this message.
