Thanks. Putting
default-sample-rate = 48000
into /etc/pulse/daemon.conf does indeed fix it for PulseAudio (which is practically all I use).
However, a "mpg321 -o alsa" stream is still 10% too fast on
suspend/resume, so presumably there is also an issue in the sound
driver?
