Note: the symptom is exactly what is reported by dino99 on the initial
bug report:

florent at jaunty:~$ dmesg | grep Warn
[   10.564129] Warning! ehci_hcd should always be loaded before uhci_hcd and ohci_hcd, not after

But I do not diagnose any other problem with USB.
