I already had lvm2 installed on the system I was using.

After installing some package, the initrd changed. (no idea which package)
So I had to reboot in the Live CD. The Live CD does not have lvm2 installed by default, so I installed it.

I re-created the initrd in the Live environment.

But when the kernel was upgraded, the new initrd did not support lvm2.

Running mkinitramfs for the new kernel does not help. Or maybe I don't
know exactly how to enable lvm2 support when I run it. But the point is,
I shouldn't have to know. Thats why I'm calling this a bug.
