I confirm this bug too. I have exactly the same issues and tested it in
the same way as @Darrell Kavanagh (bug #305301) - X200M, Fujitsu-Siemens
Amilo Li 1718, kernel 2.6.28-13-generic on Jaunty, suspend/hibernate
working with DRI off, not working if on. I managed to get a pm_trace
that says:

[    5.135993]   Magic number: 0:81:18
[    5.136051]   hash matches /build/buildd/linux-2.6.28/drivers/base/power/main.c:390
