I got exactly same problem.
Is that everything OK with kernel 2.6.30 really?
My ethernet card status is like below
And I found the latest driver of RTL8111 driver , it was released 5th May 2009.
I didn't install it yet.
But I prefer to modify kernel instead of setting driver manually.
