I`ve reported that bug too. It happened in 6.06 LTS for the first time
and it happens in 8.04 LTS too. I think I know where the problem is -
this is some hardware overload. I stressed my CPU using many apps
opened. Firefox3 (playing flash youtube etc), Thunderbird, Wine with 3D
gaming. After some time the freeze occured. After that I tried it again
and it happened too. Now I am more than sure it is due to the overload
:) It`s not sec. vulnerability, you just lose what you started any
unsaved information is vast too.
