Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: initramfs-tools

First: have a look at Bug #185380. There it is said that the problem is
solved, because of an update of cryptsetup. Additionally my crypttab
doesnt have comments.

I use Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 on 2.6.28-4 last update today 10.01.09 on an
IBM Thinkpad T41.

So here is the problem:

Setting up cryptsetup (2:1.0.6-7ubuntu1) ...
update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)
^Cdpkg: error processing cryptsetup (--configure): // Killed it manually
subprocess post-installation script killed by signal (Interrupt)
Processing triggers for initramfs-tools ...
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-2.6.28-4-generic
Errors were encountered while processing:
 cryptsetup
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Crypttab:
root /dev/sda3 none luks, retry=1
home /dev/sda2 none luks, retry=1

Updating the initramfs seems to get stuck in an endless loop everytime starting apt-get.
No idea for solving this problem..

Greetings
