This fix breaks my brightness keys?

When I use you patched kernel, my FN keys doesn't work anymore.
The kernel 2.6.27-10-generic is working perfectly with my FN keys, and it isn't inverted. 

So Ill say the kernel 2.6.27-11-generic contains a regression, and of
this bug report, you made a fix to that regression. Unfortunately that
fix breaks my FN keys completely. Any ideas? Anyway, thanks for your
quick replies.
