[Bug 327780] [NEW] E-MU 0202 USB audio interface doesn't work properly

Public bug reported:

My E-MU 0202 can only play one song; after that, it doesn't play
anything unless I restart my system (after that, however, I can only
play another song an so on).

My card worked just right until three-four weeks ago, and stopped working after a system update (I was running ubuntu 8.10).
I then switched to jaunty, but nothing changes.

"dmesg | tail" gives me:
