[Bug 326674] [NEW] Logitech Quickcam E2500 not supported

Public bug reported:

I recent bought the Logitech Quickcam E2500, which is budget webcam. It
is not supported under Ubuntu 8.10 (AMD64). The fix is trivial, and the
risk is essentially zero. So I propose that the patch is applied as an
update.
