@Felix: my deepest apologies for writing it wrongly. At some point I
will try again and try to identify where I went wrong. Currently I am
finding the filesystem corruption to be more of a problem than grub
wrestling! If you can point me to the best place to discuss such grub
issues I will take this discussion there when I can.
