Binary package hint: linux-firmware

This were some of the entries that I found in my /etc/var/syslog file
Dec 7 00:47:09 joey-laptop kernel: [ 4373.980063] wlan0: no probe response from AP 00:25:84:03:bf:f0 - disassociating
Dec  7 00:47:09 joey-laptop NetworkManager: <info>  (wlan0): supplicant connection state:  completed -> disconnected

This is what I found when running a lshw command:
*-network
                description: Wireless interface
product: AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express)
                vendor: Atheros Communications Inc.
                physical id: 0
                bus info: pci at 0000:03:00.0
                logical name: wmaster0
                version: 01
                serial: 00:26:b6:1f:e1:8c
                width: 64 bits
                clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress bus_master cap_list logical ethernet physical wireless
                configuration: broadcast=yes driver=ath9k ip=172.20.200.103 latency=0 multicast=yes wireless=IEEE 802.11bgn
                resources: irq:17 memory:f0100000-f010ffff

Please note also I am about 10 feet away from the router when this
happens. Any input on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank
you.
