[Bug 349314] Re: Slow performance and tiling issues on i915

New UNR user here & I have the same problem (screen refreshes, online
flash video staggers and  netbook-launcher menu changes are painfully
slow [w/ high cpu rates]) after a new install. I'm using a Dell Inspiron
Mini 12. My graphics card has something different, so maybe that's the
cause.

$ lspci
...

...

$ uname -a
Linux mini-jason 2.6.28-15-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 18 18:40:08 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

I installed the 2.6.28-11.43~lp349314apw5 kernel and that didn't change.
I tried the force low graphics setting in gconf-editor and that didn't
work. I also tried the "Options" "Tiling" "False" in xorg.conf and that
also didn't work.

Let me know if I can provide any more information...
