[Bug 269294] Re: Acer Aspire 5520 cannot record sound with HDA-Intel NVidia Codec ALC268

I've been struggling with this on my Acer 6530G for months now.  I've
tried every suggestion I can find, including the most recent one of
updating ALSA to 1.0.20, but I still can't get my built-in mic to work.
I ran the alsa-info.sh.  Here's the url: http://www.alsa-

This is the only part of Ubuntu that I cannot get working, and it's
incredibly frustrating!  Any other thoughts?  Thanks!
